PMU, Microbalding, RF Microneedling and Piercing Q & A.

717.579.0037

No. I try to incorporate as much natural hair as possible in order to achieve natural-lookin results with little maintenance.

  • Powder brows are a solid shading done with a shading needle
  • Microblading is done with a series of tiny needles shaped on an angle to provide a brush, natural stroke that mimics your own hair.
  • Nano brows are done with either a single liner needle or series of tiny needles in a U shape blade, to create natural looking strokes much like microblading.
  • A combo brow can be done using 2 methods together because they all last about the same amount of time prior to needing a touch up.

Yes, but only during the procedure. You can put them back in after 24 hours.

Yes. I purchase my ink from two of the most reputable companies based in the U.S.A. The ink is safe and contains high quality ingredients that are Vegan, Carbon Free, Nickle Free, Hypoallergenic.

Being that I have 30 years of experience in the industry, I have mastered the best way to utilize my numbing agent for best results and to make my clients confortable. I have a trick that I share with my clients at the time of their visit.

Yes, in fact at times I suggest clients have a solid brow done first, then return for microblading strokes depending on their skin type and elasticity.

I carry a large variety of colors for my clients to choose from. I also create custom colors based on their unique skin undertones of the individual.

Frequently used colors include: Black, Brown, Blue, Charcoal, Blue/Black, Black/Brown, Purple, and green. Black is the most vivid color because it is cool and skin is warm, therefore it creates the greatest contrast, making your eyes "POP."

PMU is a method of depositing pigment into the dermal layer of the skin with a needle. It is similiar to a tatto, but is done with consetic ink designed specifically for the face.  It does require maintenance, however special touch up pricing is charged for returning clients.

The longevity of permanent makeup varies from person to person, but it typically lasts between 1 to 3 years before touch up sessions are needed just to enhance the shape and color. Factors such as skin type, lifestyle, and sun exposure can affect the duration. We send reminders at the 1 year mark .

The benefits of permanent makeup include saving time on a daily basis, never having a "bad brow" day,  enhancing your facial features, and providing a solution for those with makeup allergies or motor impairments.

The skin is numbed with 5% lidocain prior to the procedure. After the first row is performed and the skin is broken, I renumb the area so that the numbing agent reaches the depth of the needle which provides the best effect.

Permanent eyeliner typically lasts between 1 to 10 years. After the first few applications it becomes more permanent because it is not exposed to the elements like the brows or lips. Most clients do not return to darken them as often as other procedures.

Permanent lip liner and lip blushing typically last between 1 to 3 years, depending on factors like skin type, lifestyle, and sun exposure before maintenance sessions are required to enhance the shape and color. If you are prone to cold sores, it is advised that you take Valtrex 24 hours prior to the procedure in order to prevent them.

Yes, you can still wear lipstick after getting permanent lip liner or lip blushing. The permanent color can provide a base, but lipstick can be applied for a more dramatic look or when you want to wear a different color once they are fully healed.

All of these methods last the same amout of time. They will fade more rapidly if you do not follow the aftercare instuctions. If you wear sunscreen during the summer months and are careful not to apply retinols and glycolics over the pigmented area, they will stay more vivid.  A touch up is usually needed at the year mark just to freshen them up.

Radio Frequency Microneedling is a procedure using 24 gold plated insulated needles to puncture the skin, making it repair it'self  which causes it to create new collagen. It provides the same outcome as most lasers for a fraction of the price and is safer and can be used on all skiin types. The radio frequency waves help to get deeper into the dermal layer of the skin.

In about one week your face and neck will be tighter, and your skin will have a wonderful glow. It usually takes a few treatments to completely diminish sun spots and scars, however they will lighten in about a week after each session. As far as new collagen production, results begin to show in about 4-6 weeks. RadioFrequency Microneedling is an excellent treatment, provides the same results as a laser, without the cost or possibility of burning, and can be used on all skin types.  It is also an excellent way to increase the longevity of dermal fillers in the cheeks and around the mouth, especiall for those with thinner faces or aging skin. It is recommended by Dr's to have a series of three treatments 4-6 weels apart prior to having cheek augmentation in order to acheive the best results!
